The 6,000 sqare ft. home was carved out of rock in 1989 by businessman John Hays who originally wanted to use it as a nuclear bomb hideaway during the Cold War.
After being turned into a hotel and then sold, it has undergone a £1m renovation and now features an indoor waterfall and a helicopter landing pad.
The lodge is supplied by an under-the-floor spring originating from deep within the heart of the cave and has a geothermal heating. Outside, there’s a barn with stables and a lake.
