LINDA Hamilton has been pictured reprising her iconic role of Sarah Connor in the sixth Terminator movie.
The 61-year-old actress will once again be reunited on-screen with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the sci-fi epic – due to hit cinemas in 2019.
The actress could be seen in black military gear with a green bulletproof vest over her torso.
Filming was underway in the Spanish capital of Madrid and it looks like the action will be bigger than ever as the actress clutched on to a large weapon.
Donning aviator sunglasses, it looks like the character of Sarah Connor hasn’t forgotten her 80s origins.
Plot details for the movie remain scarce but it’s expected that the as-yet-untitled sixth film in the franchise will focus on events after 1991’s Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
It’s also expected that this movie will launch a new trilogy while bringing in new stars and concluding Sarah Connor’s arc.
When announcing Linda’s return in 2017 at a fan event, Terminator creator James Cameron revealed: “As meaningful as she was to gender and action stars everywhere back then, it’s going to make a huge statement to have that seasoned warrior that she’s become return.”
Linda and James were married in 1991 and the couple share a daughter, Josephine, born in 1993.
But it wasn’t to last as the couple’s marriage ended in divorce with a $50 million settlement in 1999.

Linda Hamilton sat out of the Terminator sequels that followed in 2003, 2009 and 2015.
Terminator Genisys was the most recent outing which despite starring Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger, only scored $440million at the global box office.
Since her Terminator heyday, Linda has landed a string of US TV roles including Defiance, Air Force One Is Down, Weeds and The Line.
